I have created this blog to help foster communication between defensive coaches 9-12. I think this is the best way for us to share information and continue our implementation of the Stack and Tough fronts as well as our coverages. This is a public blog so other coaches can also access it and comment if they would like.

Here we go...
What is an immediate need that you have as a position coach or as a coordinator regarding understanding or clarification of a defensive concept presented in the Defensive Playbook sent out this week.
From our meetings, it sounds like we will be bring at least one or two linebackers on some kind of stunt every play in some capacity. Do we have a max pass defense where we only rush the down lineman? If there is do we have any line stunts, just for pass rushing with all linebackers dropping into coverage? If not I have some d-line stunts that we ran in college out of the 3-4 which would be similar to our defensive line scheme.
Coach - We will rush only three simply by not tagging anything to our front call. Ex. Stack Cover Three. Also we will have a Victory package which would include only rushing three.
Let's get together and talk about line stunts...I would like to hear what you have done in the past and see how they might be incoroporated.

Sounds like a plan. What days and times work the best for you. My schedule is flexible.
